‘Internal matter of military’, says PTI’s Barrister Gohar about ex-ISI Chief Faiz Hameed’s court martial

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, stated on Monday that the custody and court-martial proceedings of Former intelligence chief Faiz Hameed are an internal matter of the military.
While talking to journalists in Islamabad Gohar said that the military has its own structure and can handle such issues as it sees fit.
Gohar added that neither PTI nor its founder, Imran Khan, has made any such demands or remarks against former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The former spy chief was taken into custody earlier today for a court martial trial. The retired general, who previously led Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency, is now under investigation for alleged misconduct during his service, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
