This iPhone 15 Pro Max lookalike costs only Rs35,000 in Pakistan

WEB DESK: Every year, with the release of Apple’s new iPhone series, markets and online platforms are flooded with clones that come at significantly lower prices.

These clones, predominantly manufactured in China, have remarkably improved over the years, making it increasingly challenging to distinguish them from the original iPhone unless one is well-acquainted with the genuine product.

This time around, cloned versions of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have surfaced on Pakistani websites, once again shocking consumers with their incredibly low prices.

However, this affordability comes at a cost; these clones lack genuine components and features found in the original iPhone.

Considering that the price of an authentic iPhone 15 Pro Max in Pakistan can reach up to Rs900,000 for PTA-approved models, the clone iPhone 15 Pro Max is being sold for a mere Rs35,000 for the PTA-approved variant.

What’s intriguing is that many sellers market these clones as “American, Turkish, and Korean” models, designed to replicate the look and feel of the real iPhone 15 Pro Max. These clone phones even come in the same array of colours offered by Apple.

However, buyers need to exercise caution; the hardware may not match the quality advertised by the seller, and the performance is far from what genuine iPhones offer.

Some individuals are lured by the lifelike appearance of these clones, hoping to impress others. Yet, what’s the point of flaunting a device when, beneath the surface, it’s just a subpar imitation, featuring a substandard camera and a sluggish processor that struggles to run apps smoothly?

These clones typically come equipped with a mere 2-3 GB of RAM, which is significantly low for optimal phone performance. Purchasing such a device poses a clear risk to the buyer’s satisfaction.

Recently, a famous Pakistani tech YouTuber, Bilal Munir, who runs the tech channel “Video Wali Sarkar”, posted a video regarding these “copy” iPhones.

He said that individuals could easily be deceived because, at first glance, these clones closely resemble the original iPhone 15 Pro Max, down to the identical notch and weight.
