Iranian FM condemns Israel attack in a meeting with PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to address escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The Iranian foreign minister in particular condemned the Israeli attack on Iran that took place on October 26, targeting key military sites within the country.

During their discussion, Shehbaz stated that it was urgent to declare a ceasefire in Gaza. He called for immediate humanitarian assistance for the Palestinians being ruthlessly massacred by the occupying force – Israel.
Earlier, the Iranian foreign minister engaged in talks with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Foreign Office.
The two officials agreed on the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in importance areas, including trade, energy, and border security.
After their meeting, Dar held a press conference alongside the Araghchi. The deputy prime minister demanded an immediate ceasefire in the Middle East.

Both ministers condemned Israeli actions, characterising them as violations of the United Nations Charter and international humanitarian law.
