Iranian President reaches Lahore

LAHORE: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his spouse Jamileh Alamolhoda arrived here on Tuesday morning from Islamabad.

They were accorded a warm welcome by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

A public holiday has been declared in the Lahore district.

Iranian President will first visit the Iqbal Mausoleum and then will reach Govt College University Lahore where he will attend a conference.

After that, the Iranian President will reach the Governor House where he will hold meetings with Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rehman and Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz.

Punjab CM will host a luncheon in honour of the Iranian president and his wife and after that Iranian President will leave for Karachi in the afternoon.
