Islamabad bus terminals to be closed from 8 pm tonight

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Transport Authority has ordered the closure of all bus terminals in the city starting from 8 PM tonight.
As per instructions from the Secretary of the Transport Authority, terminals will be sealed using barriers.
Strict action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the orders, the notification said.
The move comes in response to ongoing security concerns amid the announced PTI protest and to ensure public safety and maintain order in the federal capital.

PTI founder Imran Khan has given a call for countrywide protests on November 24 (Sunday) for fulfilment of his demands, which also includes his release.
Motorways M1 and M2 are also likely to be start closing from tonight.
Containers have been placed on the sides of the key roads of Islamabad and by tomorrow night most main avenues leading to the capital city will be closed down.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi earlier had ruled out granting permission for any rallies in Islamabad said those who will break the law will be dealt with an iron hand.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, the Interior Minister emphasized that all actions against the protesters will fully comply with the directives of the Islamabad High Court.
Section 144 has also been imposed in the federal capital barring all political gatherings.
Mobile phone services are also likely to be suspended from Saturday night.
