Islamabad police launch crackdown against students bunking school


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT)  Police ha velaunched a campaign to crack down on students who bunk classes. The campaign, called “School Chalo”, is being carried out by the Safe City Command and Control Center.

On Monday, the capital police tweeted that the police had caught several students bunking school and college. The students were taken to the police station and handed over to their parents.

 

 

Separately, The Islamabad Police are executing the ‘Knock the Door’ campaign aimed at registering employees and tenants.

The teams of police are visiting door to door for this purpose.

A spokesperson for the police department said teams were actively canvassing neighbourhoods and going door-to-door to ensure the registration of both tenants and domestic workers.
