Islamabad schools switch to winter timings

ISLAMABAD: Winter timings have been announced for Islamabad schools being run under the ambit of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).

The new timings will come into force from December 1, 2024 and will continue till January 31, 2025.

A notification to this effect has been issued.

According to the notification announcing the winter timings for Islamabad schools, in the morning shift the schools will open at 8:30 am till 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.

Schools reopen in three Punjab divisions as smog eases

On Fridays, the school will remain open from 8:30 am till 12:30 pm.

While in the evening shift, schools will open from 1:30 pm till 6:00 pm.

The new schedule aims to accommodate seasonal changes and ensure a smoother routine for students and staff.
