ISLAMABAD: Islamabad will deploy special pink busses exclusively for women students and teachers from August 7, following directives from the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training announced that the pink busses will operate on major routes across the federal capital, linking rural areas with urban centers.

Officials designed the initiative to enhance safety and convenience for women passengers.

The initiative aims to promote girls’ education and women’s empowerment by facilitating free and secure transportation. According to sources in the education department, the busses will support increased accessibility to educational institutions and contribute to broader inclusive development goals.
