Islamabad Weather Forecast – January 23, 2024

As per AccuWeather’s current projections, rain is expected in Islamabad on the night of January 25, Thursday.

The adverse weather conditions have created challenges for Islamabad citizens, particularly in midnight travel.

The colder temperatures pose difficulties for motorcyclists, and low visibility adds to the challenges for both bikers and four-wheeler vehicles. The dense fog persisted in Islamabad until 6:30 am on Tuesday.

While cities like Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Kasur are accustomed to such foggy conditions, it is noteworthy that this type of fog is not commonly seen in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

A long-time resident of the federal capital, who has been living here for more than a decade, expressed astonishment, stating that this level of fog has not been witnessed since he moved to Islamabad.

Citizens are advised to exercise caution during travel, considering the challenging weather conditions and fog, and to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts and advisories from highway authorities and police.
