Islamabad’s “Eleventh Avenue” renamed “Iran Avenue”

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s “Eleventh Avenue” is renamed “Iran Avenue” by the government of Pakistan on the visit of the Iranian president to Pakistan.
Another important development has taken place in strengthening and consolidating Pakistan-Iran friendship, Islamabad’s “Eleventh Avenue” has been renamed as “Iran Avenue”.

After the approval, the Interior Ministry wrote a letter to the CDA officials, according to the spokesperson of CDA, the implementation on the orders to rename the highway after Iran has started.
It should be noted that the construction of Eleventh Avenue was started by the CDA.
In phase one, it has been extended from Sector D-12 to E-11 North-East corner, where an interchange has also been constructed on the Khayaban Iqbal. In phase two, it will be extended up to IJ Principal Road.
