Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also addressed the event and congratulated the nation on what he called a “victory in the battle of truth.”

Referring to events of May 10, the PM claimed that Pakistan’s armed forces defeated India, displaying exceptional strategy and bravery. “The enemy will remember our response to aggression for eternity,” he said.

He added that national unity shown on that day is unforgettable and lauded the timely completion of the underpass.

“Completing such a project in 35 days is no easy task,” the PM noted, adding that future projects will also be completed at the same fast pace.

Shehbaz Sharif praised Mohsin Naqvi, saying the project was completed exactly within the timeframe he had promised.
