Justice Mansoor Ali Shah takes oath as acting Chief Justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi is on a foreign tour with a delegation from the Supreme Court of Pakistan. During his absence, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has been appointed as Acting Chief Justice.

Justice Mansoor took oath as the acting CJ. Justice Muneeb Akhtar administered oath to Justice Mansoor. The oath-taking ceremony of the Acting Chief Justice was held in the Supreme Court.

Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan, and senior lawyers and officers of the Law and Justice Commission attended the ceremony.
