Justice (retd) Arshad Hussain takes oath as new KP CM

PESHAWAR: Justice (retd) Arshad Hussain on Sunday took oath as the caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali took oath from Hussain.

The news follows the untimely demise of Muhammad Azam Khan, the caretaker chief minister, who succumbed to a heart attack just a day ago.

Shah, a distinguished figure, has a notable background, having served as the chief justice of Pakistan’s northern Gilgit-Baltistan region and as a justice of the Peshawar High Court (PHC).
