Karachi: Missing siblings return home

KARACHI: Two siblings, a young boy and girl, who were reported missing from outside their home near North Nazimabad’s police station yesterday, have safely returned home today, Wednesday.

The issue of the children’s disappearance surfaced earlier in the day when the police received a complaint from their maternal uncle.

According to their uncle, the 12-year-old and 11-year-old had left their home around 11pm on Tuesday.

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Central Zeeshan Siddiqui, speaking to Geo, stated that the boy and girl informed the police in their statements that they left home voluntarily. Later, the boy revealed to the police that he and his sister had stayed at a couple’s house overnight.
