Karachi police arrest suspects for robbery, mobile tampering

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies have achieved a significant breakthrough in addressing the rising incidents of robbery and mobile tampering in Orangi Town, Karachi. The Pakistan Rangers Sindh conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of multiple suspects responsible for a wave of crimes.

The main suspect, who is believed to have been involved in over 50 cases of robbery and snatching, has been apprehended by Rangers Karachi. During the interrogation, the suspect admitted to his involvement in more than 150 incidents of mobile phone theft and a staggering sum of one lakh rupees.

Among the apprehended individuals, one suspect has confessed to tampering with more than 80 mobile phones. This revelation sheds light on the extent of their illicit activities and their impact on the community.

The suspect in custody is said to have been responsible for a recent robbery on August 18, where a citizen was subjected to a mobile phone and cash snatching in Orangi Town. This arrest marks a significant step towards curbing the rising criminal activities in the area.

While one suspect is in custody, the authorities are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the remaining accomplices. The ongoing raids and investigations signify a commitment to bringing all individuals involved in these crimes to justice.
