CHILAS: The Karakoram Highway, which was blocked at Tatta Pani due to a landslide, has been partially reopened for one-way traffic.
According to Goharabad Police, debris was cleared with the help of heavy machinery, but full restoration will take more time.
Meanwhile, continuous rain is being reported in the upper mountainous areas of Diamer and Kohistan.
The Meteorological Department has warned of more rain and the risk of further landslides. Due to flash floods, link roads in the outskirts of Diamer have been cut off, causing severe difficulties for the local population.
Authorities have advised travellers to avoid unnecessary movement, and rescue teams have been dispatched to the affected areas.
