Keep the doors of justice open; treat visitors like guests

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa reached the Supreme Court (SC) where the SC staff welcomed him, on Monday.

In his conversation with the staff, CJ Isa said “We need your cooperation. Today I have meetings and full court, but I will meet the people in detail”.

People do not come to the Supreme Court happily, the chief justice said, adding that they reach out to the Supreme Court to resolve their problems. “Treat visitors like guests,” he instructed his staff.

Full court hearing under Chief Justice Faez Isa scheduled for tomorrow

“Keep the doors of justice open. Help the people who come here”, Chief Justice Isa said.

The full bench of the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the case regarding the Practice and Procedure Act under Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa. The hearing will be telecast live through Pakistan Television Network (PTV).

An informal meeting of the Supreme Court judges will took place ahead of the hearing, during which SC justices agreed to allow live coverage of the hearing.
