Khushab: Four men allegedly gang-rape girl, release video online

JAUHARABAD: A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against four individuals, with one arrested, for allegedly gang-raping a girl and releasing the video on social media platforms in the neighboring village of Khushab.

As reported by the police, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Tehsil Jauharabad on July 26 and the FIR was registered based on the victim’s statement.

In the FIR, the girl alleged that discussions were underway for a marriage proposal with the brother of main perpetrator.

As per the FIR, the prime suspect, identified as Zeeshan, took the girl under the pretense of introducing her to his family. Instead, he took her to a distant location where, along with three accomplices, subjected her to gang-rape. The assailants also filmed the incident and later released the video online.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested one of the culprits and efforts were underway to apprehend the remaining suspects.
