Pakistan has claimed that the attack was planned in India and carried out by its proxies in Balochistan. According to officials, the attack is part of a conspiracy to spread instability in Pakistan.

India has been consistently involved in terrorist incidents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is targeting Pakistan through proxy organisations.

It may be recalled that the shooting incident on a school van in Khuzdar had plunged the entire country into mourning.

School students were targeted in the incident, which was strongly condemned by public and political circles.

Prime Minsiter Shehbaz Sharif has assured the nation that no effort would be spared to defeat these plans and said: “Those who targeted Pakistan’s future — our innocent children — will face the full force of justice.”

Authorities say security has been tightened in the affected area, and a full investigation into the attack is underway.
