ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, calling it a “cowardly act by India-backed militants.”
Five people, including three children were killed in a bomb blast at zero point on the Karachi-Quetta National Highway in Khuzdar on Wednesday morning
In a statement issued from the PM House, Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of innocent schoolchildren and teachers in the attack.
“The terrorists involved in this brutal assault in Khuzdar must be identified and brought to justice without delay,” PM directed authorities.
He instructed officials to ensure the injured receive immediate and priority medical treatment.
Terming the attack as “proof of India-backed elements’ hostility towards education in Balochistan,” the Prime Minister said, “Those who targeted schoolchildren have crossed all lines of barbarism.”
