A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday to implement the life insurance scheme. During the signing, the KP CM stated that the programme reflected the provincial government’s commitment to improving social welfare.

The scheme aims to provide financial support to families in the event of the death of a primary earner.

Under the scheme, families will receive a payout of Rs1 million if the main earner in the household died before the age of 60. For those aged 60 and above, the payout will be Rs500,000.
