KP schools to remain closed for two weeks on account of Spring, Eid holidays

PESHAWAR: Students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are in for a long school holiday break due to the spring break and Eid holidays.
Spring holidays for educational institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been announced on Friday.
According to a notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department (ESED) in Peshawar, all government and private educational institutions will have spring break from April 1 to 8.
The students are likely to enjoy an extended two-week holiday as Eid is likely to fall on April 11.

The notification read that all head teachers, principals, and clerical staff would not be granted spring vacations to ensure the smooth functioning of administrative affairs.
It added that other school staff will also be present for the admissions of new students and distribution of free books.
According to the announcement, both plains and highlands areas will observe the spring break.
