LAHORE: The Expo Centre in Lahore, which was constructed at a cost of tens of millions of rupees, is facing criticism after the roof of one of its halls started leaking during the recent rains.
The leakage led to significant water accumulation within the hall, causing widespread damage to the stalls below. The incident has raised concerns over the quality of construction and the management of the facility. Vendors who had set up stalls in the affected hall reported considerable losses as their displays and products were soaked by the rainwater.

The damage has not only disrupted ongoing activities but has also left stall owners frustrated. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the cause of the leakage or the steps being taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
The Expo Centre, a key venue for events and exhibitions in Lahore, was expected to be a state-of-the-art facility, making this situation particularly troubling.
