Lahore-Karachi Khyber Mail Express escapes accident

LAHORE: In a fortunate turn of events, the Khyber Mail Express, en route from Lahore to Karachi on a Saturday, averted a potential mishap.

Railway authorities revealed that while the Khyber Mail Express was progressing through Sahiwal, an issue arose as smoke began emanating from one of the bogies’ wheels.

Train collision: Four Railway officials suspended

Subsequent examination by railway officials disclosed that the wheels on a specific bogie of the Khyber Mail had become jammed.

Swift action was taken, as the affected bogie was promptly detached from the train.

Following this, the Khyber Mail Express was allowed to continue its journey to Karachi without further incident.
