Lahore rain breaks 30-year record

LAHORE: According to Chief Meteorologist Mohammad Aslam, the continuous heavy rains this October match the intensity of those from thirty years ago in the same month.
Lahore has been affected by climate changes, with the rains in October breaking a 30-year record.
Typically, the city sees a dry spell in the month of October. However, this month has seen higher-than-usual rainfall. Experts state that in October 1990, there was a rainfall of 120 millimetres.

This month though, there has already been 140 millimeters of rain with 10 days remaining. On the brighter side, they have resulted in pristine skies in Lahore with no hint of smog so far.
