Lahore to sizzle today at 43°C

LAHORE: Lahore is set to experience a significant temperature rise today, with forecasts predicting it could reach up to 43 degrees Celsius.

The heatwave is expected to intensify over the next 48 hours, causing an increase in heat intensity.

The minimum temperature recorded in Lahore is currently at 29 degrees Celsius, signaling a period of extreme weather ahead.

Meanwhile, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, very hot in central/southern plain areas during the next twelve hours.

However, partly cloudy weather with light rain/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening/night.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to cope with the soaring temperatures.
