Lahore traffic police establish temporary driving testing centres

Lahore driving testing centres

LAHORE: The City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore announced the establishment of temporary driving testing centres at four new locations within the city. This proactive initiative is aimed at addressing the increasing demand for driving licenses and minimizing waiting times for applicants.

CTO Amara Athar shared that the testing camps will be operational starting today, located at Gaddafi Stadium, Fortress Stadium, Defense Phase 6 Head Office, and Jilani Park Parking. Citizens are encouraged to visit these centres for their driving tests, with services available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Complementing the newly introduced temporary centres, the CTP already oversees 33 permanent police service centres across Lahore. Significantly, 8 of these centres operate 24/7, ensuring round-the-clock accessibility for citizens seeking assistance.

To enhance convenience further, CTP Lahore has launched an online portal for obtaining learner permits. This user-friendly initiative enables individuals to apply for permits from the comfort of their homes, streamlining the process and saving valuable time.
