WEB DESK: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted predominantly dry weather for Lahore and most parts of Punjab over the next few days.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air currently dominates most regions of Pakistan.
On October 13, an approaching westerly wave is anticipated to enter the upper parts of the country during the evening or night.
Under these circumstances, dry weather is anticipated across Punjab on Thursday evening or night and the subsequent two days.
However, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal may experience partly cloudy weather with a chance of rain, wind, or thunderstorm on Friday evening or night.

In Lahore, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius on both Friday and Saturday.
Notably, dry weather persisted across Punjab in the past 24 hours. Bahawalpur and Sargodha emerged as the hottest locations in the province, with temperatures soaring as high as 36°C.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature recorded was 31°C, and the relative humidity during the evening stood at 82 per cent.
