Lahore Zoo to remain closed on Eid ul Fitr

LAHORE: The Lahore Zoo will remain closed on Eid ul Fitr due to construction work, much to the disappointment of children wishing to visit the zoo during Eid holidays.

However, Safari and Jalu Park will be open on Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to DG Wildlife Mudassar Riaz, construction work is still continuing in Lahore Zoo and one more month is needed to complete all the renovation work.

A hologram is being made at Lahore Zoo, he added.

Over 100 types of new animals will arrive in the Lahore Zoo and Safari Park. According to Lahore Zoo offi­cial sources, an excellent aquarium has also been built in the Safari Park and night safari facility will also be provided to visitors.
