Lari Adda Lahore will be replaced by modern airport-style terminal

LAHORE: The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has announced the replacement of Lari Adda Lahore with a state-of-the-art airport-style terminal.

He has greenlit a project of Rs 9 billion to construct a new bus terminal in Lahore. This new terminal will be erected on the premises of the former bus station in Badami Bagh.

The cutting-edge terminal at Lari Adda Lahore will boast modern facilities, bus bays, and expansive roads, meeting international standards. Additionally, it will include amenities such as restrooms and waiting areas.

The parking plaza at the upcoming bus terminal will cover 46 canals and rise to a height of 7 stories. The construction cost is estimated at Rs4 billion, catering to parking needs for up to 700 cars.

Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, Rafia Haider, has convened a meeting of relevant departments scheduled for next week to deliberate on the construction of the new bus terminal.
