LDA releases possession letters for hundreds of plots


LDA crackdown in Lahore

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Mohsin Naqvi conducted a visit to Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City, where he presided over a ceremony to distribute possession letters for more than 740 plots in the F block.

The event aimed to address the longstanding concerns of allottees who have patiently awaited this pivotal moment.

In his address at the ceremony in Lahore, Chief Minister Naqvi acknowledged the challenges faced by LDA City allottees over the past nine years.

He expressed understanding of their frustrations, emphasising the need to provide clarity and certainty to those who invested in the project.

Chief Minister Naqvi made a commitment to expedite the development in other blocks of LDA City, assuring that efforts would be made to complete them promptly.

Acknowledging the efforts of the LDA team, specifically Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chief Minister Naqvi credited their focused work in ensuring the timely distribution of possession letters.

He directed LDA officials to maintain this momentum, ensuring that future possession letters are promptly issued.

The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, and Bilal Afzal, as well as Secretary Housing, Commissioner Lahore DGLDA, Deputy Commissioner Lahore, DGPR, Chief Engineer LDA, Chief Engineer TEPA, and other relevant officials.

This event marks a significant step towards addressing the concerns of LDA City allottees, showcasing the government’s commitment to streamline and expedite development projects in the region.

Chief Minister Naqvi’s involvement underscores the importance attached to this issue, providing assurance to citizens and instilling confidence in the timely completion of development projects.
