Light rain predicted for Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Light rain with strong winds has been predicted for Islamabad and its surrounding areas, with the hope of ending the dry spell.
According to the Met Office, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours while rain and snow are expected in various parts of the country.
Rain and snowfall are likely in Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas while light rain is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal.
Foggy conditions are likely in Sialkot, Narowal, and Gujranwala.
Most districts of Sindh will experience cold and dry weather.

Snowfall is expected in Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Haripur while rain is expected in Battagram, Shangla, Buner, Swat, Peshawar, Swabi, and Nowshera.
Rain is also likely in Mardan, Bajaur, Khyber, Kohat, and Kurram. In Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will be cloudy with chances of rain and snowfall.
Azad Kashmir will also see cloudy conditions with rain and snowfall expected, according to the Met office.
Meanwhile, weather in Karachi is expected to rise with mercury likely to go up to 26°C to 28°C during the day and dropping to a minimum of 11°C to 13°C.
According to the met office, there are no chances of rain in the metropolitan city till next month.
