Light rain predicted for Islamabad, upper areas of country

ISLAMABAD:  Light rain with windstorm and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, rain with strong winds and thunder is expected in Islamabad while there is also chance of rain at few places in Murree, Galiyat and surrounding areas.

Rain is also expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra and Shangla.  Abbottabad and Buner are also expected to receive thundershowers at a few places

While dry and hot weather is expected in most other parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
