ISLAMABAD: The Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Industries’ Association has announced a nationwide strike against the government’s fixed price regulations, which have led to a cessation of LPG sales at the current rates.

LPG Industries Association Karachi chapter Chairman Irfan Khokhar said on Friday that the shutter down strike across the country will begin from August 5.

Talking to the media, Khokhar said that LPG was not being sold anywhere in Pakistan at the government-regulated price.

“Due to black marketing, LPG is being sold at high prices from Karachi to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he added.
