Maintenance of law and order state’s prime responsibility: Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Wednesday said protection of lives and properties of the people remains the prime responsibility of the state.
Addressing the passing out parade of constables in Islamabad, Interior Minister said maintenance of law and order is imperative for progress and prosperity. in this regard, police serves as a frontline force.
Calling policing a ‘sacred duty’, Sanaullah urged police personnel to dispense their duties with the spirit of serving the masses.

Interior Minister said the recent induction in Islamabad police has been made purely on merit. He said Islamabad police should serve a role model for all the federating units and work with complete diligence and dedication to give a sense of complete security to the residents of the capital.
Rana Sanaullah emphasized for continuous training and capacity building of police personnel.
Highlighting the steps taken for the welfare of police personnel, Rana Sanaullah said a hospital is being constructed for police personnel and their families in Islamabad at a cost of five billion rupees.
