Man gambles off his wife after losing bet

VIHARI: A man after losing a gambling bet offered his wife as collateral to his friends in the jurisdiction of Sahooka police station in Vihari district.

According to a complaint filed by the victim, she was raped by her husband’s friends after he offered her to them after losing a gambling bet.

The assailants also shot a video of the woman while she was being raped. The victim was threatened by the rapists that if she disclosed their identities or tells anyone about the incident the video will be uploaded on social media.

The police have registered a case against the husband and the two alleged rapists on the complaint filed by the victim’s father. The police have yet to arrest the accused.
