Minister Naqvi personally visited the site, inspecting the asphalt work and assessing the overall quality of the construction. He issued a directive for the project to be completed and opened to traffic by August 14.
Additionally, he emphasised the inclusion of a cycle track in the design and announced that Margalla Avenue would be linked to Murree Road.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, provided a briefing during the visit, noting that the project initially began in 2007 and was slated for completion in 2008.
