Marriyum Aurangzeb injured in car accident

LAHORE: Senior provincial minister Marriyum Aurangzeb sustained minor injuries in a road accident late Thursday night in Lahore.

According to media reports, her vehicle was hit by a speeding car near Defence Road, triggering a chain collision involving multiple vehicles.

Marriyum was travelling with her mother, Tahira Aurangzeb, at the time of the incident. Both escaped serious harm, though Marriyum suffered a minor injury near her eye.

The crash disrupted traffic in the area. Rescue teams reached the site swiftly and began relief efforts.

Authorities say a full investigation is underway. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to determine the cause of the accident.

Later, speaking to the media, Marriyum Aurangzeb said, “Thank God, I am fine.”
