BISE Lahore unveils schedule for final matric exams

WEB DESK: In a recent announcement, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore revealed the schedule for the Secondary School Certificate (Matric) First Annual Examinations 2024.

The Class-10 examinations are set to commence on March 1, 2024, and will run until March 18, 2024. Following this, the Class-9 examinations will kick off on March 19, 2024, and conclude on April 5, 2024. As part of the examination process, the practical exams are scheduled to take place between April 16 and May 4, 2024.

A spokesperson from BISE Lahore disclosed that a substantial number of candidates, totaling 543,400, are expected to participate in the annual examinations.

Notably, roll number slips have already been distributed to Class-10 candidates, with issuance for Class-9 candidates scheduled for a later date.

To facilitate the smooth conduct of examinations, BISE Lahore has established 854 examination centres within its jurisdiction. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of the examination process for candidates.
