
Mayo hospital Lahore gets updated emergency center

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the state-of-the-art emergency center at Mayo Hospital on Thursday.
Addressing the media on the occasion, CM Naqvi said Mayo Hospital new emergency comprises 250 beds and 9 operation theaters.
Now patients will get admission on their CNIC under HIM system. He said in the upgradation of Punjab’s big hospitals, everyone took part and showed their results.
He claimed first time incentive cares doctors have been appointed. Mayo hospital is much better than any of private hospitals in Punjab.

The process of upgrading the emergency block at Mayo Hospital Lahore started in September last year, with caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, personally inspecting the progress during his visits.
The old emergency block went through a transformation into a cutting-edge facility, boasting approximately 200 beds.
During the reconstruction phase, emergency services was temporarily relocated to the TB ward. As part of the up-gradation, the emergency block’s elevator will also be made operational.
