Mixed weather conditions predicted for Monday

WEB DESK: On Monday, the weather will be hot in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be very hot in the plains. However, in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in a few places, alongside wind and thunderstorms.

Islamabad and surrounding areas are expected to remain partly cloudy, with the possibility of rain in a few places accompanied by wind gusts and thundershowers.

Punjab will experience hot weather in most districts, with very hot conditions in the southern districts where dusty winds and storms are possible. Nevertheless, rain with thundershowers is expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Mianwali, Jhelum, Gujrat, Kasur, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, and Gujranwala.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts, though wind and thunderstorms are forecast for Kohistan, Swat, Chitral, Dir, Malakand, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Bannu, Orakzai, Kurram, and Waziristan, with the possibility of rain with thunder in some places.

Sindh will see extremely hot weather in most upper districts, while the coastal areas will remain hot and humid. There is a chance of light rain or drizzle in a few places, with a partly cloudy forecast for the coastal areas.

Balochistan will also experience hot and dry weather in most districts, with the possibility of dusty or gusty winds in some places. Light rain or drizzle may occur in a few places, with partly cloudy conditions expected in coastal areas.
