Mother, son shot dead in Lahore

LAHORE: A woman and her young son were shot dead while they were on their way to court in South Cantt area of Lahore on Monday morning.

The woman identified as Ayesha was targeted along with her 15-year-old son as they were heading to sessions court.

Unidentified gunmen sprayed bullets on the mother-son duo on Bedian Road.

The woman was due to appear in the court facing a case for murdering her former husband.

The dead bodies have been shifted to a hospital for postmortem.

Police has gathered evidences from the murder site and have started their investigation.

According to the police, they are on the lookout for the killers.
