Motorway M4 closed due to smog

WEB DESK: Motorway M4 closed from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem due to smog, Motorway Police spokesperson informed on Sunday evening.

The motorways are being closed to ensure public safety and safe travel, he said, adding that during the foggy season, the time between 10 AM to 6 PM is the best to travel.

“Drivers should prefer to travel during the peak hours of the day,” the spokesman said.

He added that citizens should avoid unnecessary travel during these days as the fog and smog can reduce visibility and may cause accidents.

The spokesperson said that the drivers should also avoid speeding and keep a proper distance between themselves and the vehicle in front of them.
