CM Punjab warns hospitals against delaying MRI, CT scan reports

CM Naqvi MRI CT Scan reports delay Lahore

LAHORE: In a recent directive, Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi has stressed the imperative for all hospitals to maintain round-the-clock accessibility for CT scans and MRI reports to cater promptly to patients’ needs.

The CM Naqvi’s directive comes on the heels of his visit to Children’s Hospital last Friday, during which he engaged with concerned parents who expressed unease over the delayed issuance of CT scans and MRI reports.

Startlingly, it was revealed that these crucial medical reports were being dispensed a troubling three days after the completion of diagnostic tests.

Expressing his displeasure over this delay, CM Naqvi underscored the critical nature of timely medical information and warned that hospitals found culpable of prolonging the delivery of CT scans and MRI reports would face stringent administrative measures.

This proactive approach by the Minister Naqvi signals a commitment to ensuring efficient healthcare services and underscores the importance of swift medical reporting for the well-being of patients.
