Enhanced Security for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas
Security measures have been tightened in Punjab and Sindh ahead of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, with thousands of personnel deployed in churches and main public areas for ensuring safety of the citizens.

Commandos will be deployed at the sensitive churches.
Similar security measures will also be placed in Karachi. Orders have been issued to tighten checks at city entry and exit points, reinforce checkpoints, and strictly implement bans on aerial firing and weapon displays during Christmas celebrations.
Sindh IG directed authorities to take strict action against lawbreakers. A joint strategy to counter security threats was approved, according to a Rangers spokesperson.
