Nawaz Sharif set to depart for London and US trip

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PLM-N) supremo, Nawaz Sharif, is set to depart for his London trip on Friday (today).

According to sources, Sharif will leave his residence in Jati Umrah, Raiwind, and head to the airport to board a foreign airline flight.

Following a brief one-day stay in Dubai, the former three-time prime minister plans to continue his journey to London, United Kingdom (UK).

Sources indicate that he will then travel to the United States on October 29, where he is scheduled to stay for four days.

Following his stint in the US, he is expected to return to his residence in London.

During his time in London, Nawaz Sharif is expected to engage in important meeting, although specific details regarding the agenda or participates have not been disclosed.

The former prime minister’s travel plans come amid ongoing speculation about his political future and the current state of affairs in the country.
