‘Neither PPP nor PML-N’s choice,’ PTI leaders in awe of Kakar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi has praised the newly appointed Anwarulhaq Kakar, saying he is “an educated and decent” human.

Qureshi, who is heading PTI while its chairman is behind bars, might be happy with Kakar sitting at the helm of affairs till the general elections. But he thinks that the name ‘neither came from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), nor from Pakistan People’s Party’ – hinting that he might have been chosen by the establishment.

Qureshi is not the only PTI leader applauding Anwarulhaq kakar’s appointment. Former focal person to Chairman PTI on digital media, Dr Arslan Khalid, took to twitter to declare him a “good choice”.

This is a rare show of agreement by the party’s senior figures over a major decision by their opponents.
