OIC will address the issue of Palestine, says Jillani

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Caretaker Jalil Abbas Jilani expressed concern over the situation in Palestine and strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinian women and children.

He was addressing a news conference to discuss various key developments and meetings.

Jillani said that an important meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) will address the issue of Palestine.

A special meeting of the OIC is scheduled for October 18 in Jeddah.

The meeting will review Israeli atrocities and aggressive actions against the Palestinians—airstrikes in Gaza strip—with an appeal for Israel to respect the resolutions of the United Nations.

In another update, interim PM Anwar-ul- Haq Kakar has also been invited to China by the President, and the caretaker foreign minister will join these significant meetings during the visit.
