SARGODHA: An anti-terrorism court in Sargodha granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan.
As per details, the anti-terrorism court approved the bail of the NA opposition leader Omar Ayub till July 15.
The development after, Mianwali and Islamabad police jointly conducted a raid on the residence of Omar Ayub Khan in Islamabad however he was not present at his residence during the raid.
The police personnel entered his house in Sector F-10 and conducted a search operation after Sargodha anti-terrorism court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Omar Ayub.

Mianwali police, in a handout, claimed that their assistant sub-inspector (ASI) had only gone to the residence to serve the bailable warrants, not to arrest the opposition leader.
The PTI leader, who went into hiding after the raid, lashed out at the authorities for being so “desperate” to apprehend him. “Bailable arrest warrants were issued for me by ATC Sargodha, but Mianwali police and Islamabad police teams came to my Islamabad house to arrest me a few minutes ago,” he said in a social media post.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party rejected the resignation forwarded by party’s secretary general Omar Ayub Khan.
