WASHINGTON: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that overseas Pakistanis are palying a positive role for boosting the positive image of the country.
According to ISPR, the overseas Pakistanis warmly received Field Marshal Asim Munir during his official visit to the United States.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Munir addressed the Pakistani community, calling them the “true ambassadors” of the country.
In his address, he praised the economic, social, and international contributions of overseas Pakistanis. He said that Pakistanis living abroad not only support the national economy through remittances but also play a key role in investment and other sectors.

Field Marshal Munir thanked the diaspora for appreciating the military’s performance in “Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous.” He said overseas Pakistanis are playing a positive role in strengthening Pakistan’s reputation globally.
According to ISPR, during the meeting, overseas Pakistanis shared their experiences and suggestions with the army chief. Field Marshal Munir stressed the need for continued engagement and cooperation with the overseas community to better understand and resolve their concerns.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, currently on a week-long visit to the United States at the invitation of American military leadership, was recently featured on a digital billboard at New York’s Times Square.
The billboard displayed images of Field Marshal Munir along with the Pakistani flag, highlighting his recent promotion to the rank of Field Marshal last month.
